There exist a variety of reasons why a Search Engin will kick you out of the search results, but this are some of the most common ones:

• Google Bomb effect: repeated links or keyword spamming
• Passthru Pages: fake pages that take you to another site, usually one with boobs  all over the place
• Duplicated content from another site
• Hidden text or links under the same color as the background.
• Massive keyword repetition over the page.
